What is the difference between a Six-Pak and a Facial?

Probably not a lot. If one had to differentiate i would say a six pack is defensive player getting it in the face off a spike and a facial is a blocker getting one off the face. Neither a fun thing to receive

It must be the language barrier here but in 10+ years of playing volleyball I have seen, received, and giving a couple of 6 packs away, but I have never heard of anyone other than my wife getting a facail, and that comes at the beauty parlor.

Six Pack around here means that you blasted a player in the face with the ball, weather they are blocking or not doesn't matter. It will in most leagues get you a free six pack of your favorite suds at the season ending banquet.

I once broke a guys glasses in half and messed up his face a little, he was attempting a block from way off the net, and got hit in the face, we called it a 6pack and ever since I have not played at the lower level recreation leagues...

Good luck hopefully you give more than you receive...

Oh and the last difference, a 6pack cost about $7, but a facail around here goes for about $20 :o)

exactly right.........blocker gets a facial

and defensive back row gets six pak
