  1. The rules for this seem to be inconsistent sometimes.  A KO is when a fighter is unconscious, and a TKO is when a fighter is conscious, but unable to intelligently defend himself (or herself).  However, sometimes it's called a TKO when a fighter goes unconscious from strikes on the ground.

  2. T is for "technical" knock out, even though the fighter wants to continue it would be too great of a health risk to let him do so.  That's called a t.k.o.

  3. KO = knoch out(uncontious)

    TKO=technical knock out(reefe stoped it.)

  4. KO is a regular knockout while TKO is a technical knockout.

    end of a boxing match when a referee declares that one fighter cannot physically continue competing without being seriously injured (Boxing)

  5. TKO is a technical knock out which means the ref stopped the fight because the other fighter was dominating and relentless against his opponent. A KO means the opponent was knocked unconscious and forced th ref to intervene.

  6. you ask a question and give every response a thumbs down, when they are all right, dude im not even gonna help you if your gonna be like that, only wanting to hear what you think is right and nothing else. i hate people who do this on YA answers.

  7. KO = Dude is knocked out and can't respond

    TKO= Ref renders the dude uncapable of continuing despite wanting to.

  8. A TKO stand for technical knockout. This happens on the mat so the person was conscious but unable to defend himself. A KO (knockout) is when right after a very power shot is delivered in the stand up game; the fighter goes down and obviously can't continue.
