What is the difference between a calzone and a strombolie (Italian Food)

I know it's probably a stupid question, but I don't know, they both seem very similar to me.

  1. the calzone is basically a piece of dough in a circle shape, all the stuff put in it, and then its folded over to make a cresent shape and the edges are sealed...a strombolie is a tube of dough filled with goodies, and usually has more bread
