  3. A cruiser is any vessel set up with living facilities for an extended voyage, be it a weekend or for years.  Cruiser's can be sail or motor.

    A motor yacht (yacht being defined as a pleasure craft) can be a cruiser, a fishing boat, or most anything else that doesn't have sails.  However, most would consider the term to mean a cruising motor vessel.
