  1. if oyu are not sure, never clean a rabbit hutch out

  2. A currant is smaller and less juicy than raisins & Sultanas.  Raisins are dried red or white grapes, Sultanas are dried red or white grapes which have first been put into a potash solution before drying to make them more juicy.

  3. The English word 'currant' has been used for this fruit only since 1550, taken from the fruit's resemblance to the dried currants of Greece, raisins made from a small seedless grape. The much older English name 'ribes' is of ancient Indo-European origin and is common to other languages.

Raisins are dried grapes. They are produced in many regions of the world, such as the United States, Australia, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Greece, Turkey, India, Iran, Pakistan, China, Afghanistan, Togo, Jamaica, South Africa, Southern and Eastern Europe. Raisins may be eaten raw or used in cooking and baking.

The sultana (also called the sultanina or sultani) is a type of white, seedless grape of Turkish or Iranian origin. It is also the name given to the raisin made from it; such sultana raisins are often called simply sultanas or sultanis. These are typically larger than the currants made from Zante grapes, but smaller than "normal" raisins.

  4. My Mum always taught me to think of Colour and Size to tell then apart

The smallest and Dark are the Currents

Slightly bigger and lighter are the Sultanas

Bigger and Dark are the Raisins

  5. They are all dried grapes.

Raisins are black grapes.  Sultanas are white grapes.  Currants are little black grapes originally from Greece.  Our word comes from the French name for them: raisins de Corinth.
