What is the difference between a ionized a polarized?

Im just wondering because i have both but i dont no the difference

  1. applea and oranges, really:  Ionization is a particle-stripping of an oxygen atom resulting in an ion.

    Polarization is the rearrangrment of the silica molecules of glass  or certain plastics to bend light into a preferred  orientaton.


  2. Is this a zoology question???

    Ionised or polarised what??? Are we talking hair straighteners or sunglasses or what???
