What is the difference between a lawer and a judge?

I think that they both solve crimes, or fights, or crimes, but there should be a difference between them.

And if you want to become a lawer you should study law, and you want to become a judge you should study___________?

  1. A lawyers argues one side of the case or another - he either prosecutes or defends.

    A Judge makes the final decisions on the case - he's the equivalence of a jury.

    Judges are appointed or elected, usually from lawyers that have had a lot of experience.  There's no class you can study for the position.


  2. They are both lawyers and have studied law. A judge is either elected or appointed.

  3. A judge has been elected or appointed to the office is also an attorney.
