    At-torney is a title of nobility under a Lord and Tax collector.

    at-torney at law works near the law while at-torney in law works within the law or more properly statutes (court made law)

    At-toreys are officers of the court. their first duty is to the courts , next is to the Bar , then to the State, then to the Banks then after a few more to you.
