What is the difference between a medical assistant and a clinical medical assistant?

I was wondering what was the difference as in job materials, do they earn a different salary? please help. thank you!

There is not much difference between a  medial office assistant and medical assistant  in terms of their duties. They both perform the similar duties like administrative functions which includes: answer telephones, greet patients, update and file patient medical records, fill out insurance forms, handle correspondence, schedule appointments, handle billing and book keeping, and sometimes arrange for hospital admission and laboratory services.
