The company I work for is going through a "merger" with another company. Our CEO told us is a "merger",but the CEO of the new company referred it as an "acquisition".The new company is going to be the parent company. What does this mean? Are they buying us out? They are an out-of-state company and they wanted us to move over there, but nobody will. The new CEO offered me a "work at home"job once the transition is over .Then he emailed me about looking for a new office for me and the receptionist. I asked :where is the new office? and he replied to ask the old CEO.Does this make any sense?
