kaffir is a disbeliever...he knew about islam,and he didn't believe in it.

while there are non-muslims who didn't know about islam(believe me there are),we can't call them kaffirs because they didnt ''kafaro'' by Allah.

Allah will handle them as he wants,but u don't call them kaffirs/disbelievers.

As al Qur'an Muqdus (the Holy Qur'an) says, the kaffir is inferior to the Muslim.

Muslims are human people who follow in the way of Allah, the deen of Islam (religion of Islam).

Kaffirs are sons of pigs who are blind to Islam and our duty is to convert or kill them.

Kafir is one whom Islam is explained very well by the knowledgeable Muslim.  He understands it very well, but  he rejects the concept of oneness of God nor he accepts that  Mohammad  is the Prophet of God.  He totally refuses with full consciousness of his mind after learning all about the Islamic faith.

Prophet Mohammad preached Islam to the people of Mecca including his real uncles (real brothers of his father)  but they flately refused to accept and even cursed Prophet.  He preached quite some times.  Allah has used word Kafiroon for idolators of Mecca in Ayahs of Quran revealed to Prophet after rejected Islam again and again and even tried to kill Prophet Mohammad.  Kafir is not an ethnic slur.  It simply means one who rejects Islam after full understanding.

I refrain from using the word Kafir for every non-Muslims because I don't know if the person has been given message of Islam or not.

Non-Mulims are those who never fully know what Islam means and we don't know if Muslims have introduced them with the concept of Islam.

So in a way they are not the rejectors of Islam because no one told them about Islam.

I believe it is wrong of Muslims to use world Kafir freely for every

non-Muslim  without explaining Islam to them thoroughly and one who gives message also has .to be a well trained and highly knowledgeable in the art of inviting people to Islam.

I know lots of Muslims do not agree with them  and label me friend of

Non-Muslims because I live in USA and want to please Christians  though  I have no friendship even with any Christian.

Allah himself did not used word Kafir for neither idolators of Mecca nor for Jews of Madina  before Prophet Mohammad presented them Islam over and aover.  No one could do better job of presenting Islam to

non-Muslims than  Prophet Mohammad.  We  in no way can compare ourselves near Prophet Mohammad.  And therefore I don't feel myself fully qualified to call any non-Muslim  a  Kafir eveb though I have been explaining Islam to non-Muslim on this forum since November 2006 and have answered 2958 questions of non-Muslims on this forum

there is no diferents because kafir is a non muslim. we call them kafir according to the arabic. in english it's  called a non- muslim

"kaffir" Is a foul ethnic slur against Black South Africans. The equivalent is "n****r" in other wester countries. So I would say, to answer your question, quite a bit.

the above verses are rejected most by sunnis and shias..as they follow their own version of shahadah/kalimah.

and most do not believe that teh Founder of Islam with religious practices were given to Prophet Ibraheem..

and Prophet Muhammed was ordered to Follow religion of Ibraheem.

but majority of muslims dont believe this ,,thus making themselves disbelievers
