  1. the rising action : complicates the conflict and moves toward the climax.

falling action : the part the follows the climax and leads to the catastrophe.

climax : the moment of highest intensity.

these are the definitions given to me in my lit. class by my teacher. Oh, and these were in my notes under the parts of an elizabethan tragedy. But they are they same in all parts of lit. i believe.

  2. it all has to do with when the woman climaxes. ask your mom to demonstrate she did a good job when I was with her last night.

  3. rising action is the series of events in a story that move the story along.  The climax comes after the rising action and is the turning point of the story or the most intense part of the story.  The falling action is after the climax and it is the events leading to the end of the story.

    hope that helped

  4. Rising action- refers to events that lead up to the big moment in the story. During the rising action, characters interact and events unfold that all lead up to the big moment in the story.

Climax- the big “a-ha” moment in the story. Usually occurs towards the end…the thing the audience has been waiting for (or dreading)

Falling action- Refers to events that happen immediately following the climax and as a direct result of it.

    Hope this helped!
