  2. you cant stop/park/wait on a double yellow at any time and a single yellow i think you can stop for a n hour between certain times...

  3. Double, you are not allowed to park or stop at any time. Single, you can for a very short amount of time.

  4. A double yellow line means no waiting at any time.  It might only apply for certain months

    A single yellow line means that there is no waiting at certain times shown on the nearby sign
