What is the difference between a store and a restaurant?

You buy food in the store. Usually you would buy individual ingredients at the store to take home, to cook into a meal at some later time.

Restaurants are for when you don't feel like cooking, or feel like eating fancy. They prepare the food for you in their establishment, and you pay extra for the service.
