  1. Depends on how much rent you want to pay.  A studio apartment doesn't have rooms, it's just one large area ( or small ) where your living space, kitchen, and bedroom are all in one area.

A one room bedroom apartment is just that, it has one bedroom separated by a wall and door,  Depending on the configuration and architecture, you will have a small bathroom with toilet and bath.  A small kitchen, a dining area and living space.  Average is 600-700 square feet.  A studio may be smaller, but less rent.

  2. a studio is usually one room with a small kitchen in a corner and a separate bathroom.and is  very small. A bachelor is a larger room with separate kitchen and bath. A one bedroom would be a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and livingroom  The big difference is cost. So what you choose is based on how much money you have to spend. I don't think i could live in a studio so if you are just moving out and probably don't have a lot of furniture I would opt for the bachelor.

  3. A studio apartment is essentially two rooms, the living area including sleeping, living, cooking, and eating all in one room and the other is the bathroom.

I haven't seen ads for bachelor's apartments (fair housing likely had something to say about that name...) and I believe they were the same as a studio but with a kitchenette instead of a full kitchen. I'm not sure... but they may now be called efficiencies.

A one bedroom apartment means that there is a bedroom separate from the rest of the living space. Alternatively one could say that it has a living area separate from the bedroom, whichever you prefer.

In order to suggest one of these types I would need to know more about your situation...

  4. One bedroom is the best--you have a separate place to sleep, kitchen, dinning area, full bathroom, and a living room.

A bachelor pad or studio is like a motel room; everything is in one room except the bathroom.
