  1. ''A wireless'' - Eh?

    Wireless has no wires.

    A radio often does.

And Tuner is a fish. (ROFL)

    Alex.

  2. wireless and radio are the same wireless is just an old fashioned name for a radio. a tuner is usually just a radio tuner without any speakers so it needs an amplifier and speakers to work.

  3. Let's start with wireless, in the days when Morse code was used over landlines (telegraph) it was considered a wired system. Then came Morse code  transmission over the air waves, and it was called a wireless (telegraph) system, after that audio was put on the carrier wave, all of this was called wireless radio to this day the British still call it a wireless. So wireless and radio are the same.

    Next the tuner:

A tuner is a radio that just tunes a carrier wave and demodulates the audio, plus has no preamp or amplifier built in. Usually considered a high-end piece of hifi equipment.

  4. absolutely nothing

  5. about 50 years. lol.

  6. The age of the person describing it...

  7. not a lot really   A tuner might be just that,,, mo amplifier or speakers  so although it tunes  you would hear nothing...   A wireless and a radio are the same.....
