  1. Dear pa,

Thank you, am also fine like you dear, then the ac current have some applied frequency of both +ve & -ve half cycles but the dc current has no frequency.

  2. AC current (alternating current...current) fluctuates between a high (+) voltage and a low (-) voltage usually of the same magnitude. it is easier to generate and is much more useful and easier to manipulate but a little complex to analyze. you can put it through transformers and change voltage and current inversely, at high frequencies you can propagate it through mediums like air (electromagnetic waves) bla blah blah. Dc stuff is more heavy machine oriented, for work type stuff. it is one directional current (constant high (+) voltage).

  3. AC alternates between +max and -max so many times every second and is measured in Hz (50Hz means it cycles 50 times a second)

DC just goes in a straight line along the wire

  4. A.c. changes its direction of flow, i.e. it alternates its direction, many times a second.

D.c. flows in one direction only.

  5. DC: electron travels from Neg to Pos in one way direction.

AC: electron travels from Neg to Pos,but exchange direction

60 times per second (for USA power 60c/s)
