On the website the job title is stated as admin assistant. But when I downloaded the additional documents containing more information about that job, the title was changed to ward clerk. Is it still worth applying for?

  1. Yes its still worth applying, raise it with them if you get to interview stage.

  2. A 'ward clerk' may be another name for 'hospital unit clerk/coordinator' or 'unit secretary' within a hospital at the nursing unit desk.  That kind of job is said to be somewhat stressful just fyi :)

For more info on the job/career of health unit coordinator:  http://www.nahuc.org

For general career info on office:  http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search 'administrative assistants and secretaries' or such.
