  1. An agent finds you work, negotiates your contract, takes care of paying you for your work. A manger, takes care of your scheduling, your investments, etc. You do not need a manager until you have such a big career as to need one.

  2. well you only should get a manager when you have your made youself known in the business

    look just go to actinginfo.blogspot.com

    and acting411.blogspot.com

and read everything you see! and click on things in blue but not doulbe underlined ones

and you got any questions ask me!

and i suggest you sign up with alan baltes(go to first site read right column you will understand) he wont be an agent jsut help you!

and for agents in your area go to talentagen ts.blogspot.com

and scroll down till you find city nearest you!

and if your in new york or l.a keep scrolling till you see acting schools

any other questions feel free to ask! i can tel you lots of info that like deadline for j.o.n.a.s and when camp rock 2 auditions start its info that alan baltes didnt put on blog but im signed up with him and he told me

  3. agents find you jobs and advertise you while a manager manages your schedule. usually you get a manager when you have made it in the industry.

  4. when people look at like what ever you are auditioning for or buying or whatever they look at your agent and your agent trys to put a deal or lets you audition a manager keeps stuff together and sometimes keeps your money and account together to act you dont always need a manager

  5. An agent submits you/sends you out for auditions; a manager helps you with the direction of your career (not really necessary until you have some modicum of success).

  6. a manager goes everywhere with you and am agent doesnt a agent  stays in one place and agents set up your auditions and stuff and once you get the part thats where your mananger comes in and the manager supervises
