  1. Astrophysicist:  people who  study the physical properties, origin, and development of astronomical objects and events.

Cosmologist: People who study, the scientific study of universe: the scientific study of the origin and structure of the universe.

    Difference:

    Astrophysicist: Study the Physical Properties

Cosmologist: Study the Structure of the Universe

    What are Physical Properties?

--> Physical properties can be observed or measured without changing the composition of matter. Physical properties are used to observe and describe matter.

  2. The previous response answered your question perfectly but I will add that in simple terms the astrophysicist looks at the Universe in finer detail than compared to the cosmologist who looks at the Universe as a whole !
