What is the difference between an australian cattle dog, a queensland heeler and a blue heeler?

i've looked all over, some places say that they're the same thing others say that they're different

  2. The name is about the only difference...Australian Cattle Dogs can be registered AKC.

  3. Well a Queensland Heeler is the name of an Australian cattle Dog in Australia. They don't call them ACD's in that country but they are in fact the same breed exactly. Just like in some other countries they call Labradors American Labradors but us in America don't. a blue heeler is different though because it refers to those of the ACD breed that have a specific color, blue tick coloration. but heelers also come in reds and browns and some black is acceptable even patches of white in small amounts. A blue heeler is not a breed in any country though, because it is only the color.
