  1. when i see the word arable i visualize ploughed fields planted to crops either sowed or planted in rows, but dairy farming brings a vision of cows grazing and being milked twice a day with no ploughing.

  2. Dairy farming is the raising of cows (or goats) for milk and milk products such as cream, butter. and cheese. Arable farming means the growing of crops, such as corn, soybeans, wheat, hay, etc. A dairy farm can be an arable farm as well as a dairy farm. Most dairy farms raise crops such as hay and corn to feed their cattle as well as some to sell. Some arable farms will raise crops exclusively for sale.

  3. arable farming is producing crops ,dairy farms have cows to produce milk for butter, cheese, yoghurt .
