What is the difference between avp and fivb?

May and Walsh are ranked 1st on one, and like 7th on the other. It dosn't seem to me they are all they are prepped up to be.

  1. AVP is the pro beach tour, mostly US cities.

    The FIVB is the international governing body.  They run volleyball all around the world including beach tournaments and the Olympics.


  2. Isn't the FIVB something International? The AVP is around the US and so they are the best around here but compared to some of these foreign players like Yugoslavians and stuff I guess they aren't prepared.
