  1. Being bored is having nothing to occupy ones self with & being lonely is having no one around you to talk or hang out with.

  2. being bored is like a hunger to occupy your mind , loneliness is the need of personal attention

  3. The usual definition is:  Loneliness is experienced in isolation while boredom occurs with activities swirling around one.

The line dividing the two is very fine but may be better defined with the use of a psychological component.  Loneliness has an  emotive component, but boredom does not.  Boredom is not emotional.

  4. Being bored means you have nothing to do, being lonely means you have no one to talk to.

  5. When you're bored, you want something interesting to happen, you have nothing to do. When you're lonely it's completely different because loneliness is a kind of sadness, sometimes you'll feel unwanted and invisible, you just long to be wanted by people around you.

  6. Being bored is choosing not to do anything.  Being lonely is not always by choice.

  7. I think being bored means you have nothing to do, or there is nothing to do that interests you, being lonely means you have no one to do anything with.
