  1. I think they're the same thing. If they're two different classes, then you should read the class descriptions and see which one focuses more on what you want to do. If they're college classes then you should have an adviser, or you should get an adviser to help you pick what classes to take. I'm still in high school, and I found someone to talk to me about what major I want, and told me what classes I should focus on. But biochemistry is the study of the chemistry of living things. It focuses on processes, and structure of living things. Some other important classes would be chemistry and organic chemistry if you haven't already taken them.


  2. Technically, biological chemistry is the study of the structure and chemical makeup of biological molecules. Biochemistry is the study of the chemical reactions occuring in the body to sustain life. Biological chemistry is more appropriate if one is considering a career in pharmacology. Biochemistry is more appropriate for medical school. But as the respondant suggested above, read the course descriptions to get a definitive answer; some universities do not distinguish between the two.
