What is the difference between blackberry pearl 8120 and 8110? I'm looking to buy and need info.

OK I'm looking on ebay to buy a blackberry pearl and so far I'm leaning more toward the 8110 but i see the 8120 is more pricey? Whys that? I only need the phone for texting & internet & pics & vid's . People tell me "well the difference is the 8120 has wifi!" WTF is wifi? lol will i honestly need it in a phone ? or will i do with the 8110? Please let me know. which i should go with.

    Basically the phone enables you to access the internet wherever there is a wirless internet device.

  3. The 8120 will allow you to connect your BlackBerry to a Wi-Fi network (like a laptop) and allow for faster browsing and data access. Also, the 8120 on T-Mobile allows you to make calls over Wi-Fi, which is useful for areas with poor reception. T-Mobile also has a feature called HotSpot@Home. When calls are initiated via Wi-Fi the minutes won't subtract from your monthly allowance. So there are some advantages of having Wi-Fi in the device.

    If you don't need any of these features then I would go with the Pearl 8110. It is basically the exact same device, except it comes with built-in GPS.
