  1. Australian Cattle Dogs and Heelers are the same thing. A blue Heeler is blue merle-colored, a red Heeler is red-merle colored (same colors as Cattle Dogs).

  2. it's the same breed except for the coloring.the name Australian cattle dogs is the official name blue/red heelers is the name by which most people know them by.like the dachsunds they are known as the weenie dog.

  3. Nothing except Color. One is grayish blue the other Reddish... they are the SAME breed, adn they dont differ. Though all dogs differ in there personalities. You distinguish them from the COLOR

They are ACTUALLY CALLED Australian Cattle Dogs. there Nicknames is Red or Blue Heelers.

See this picture at this link... these are Aust. Cattle dog pups there are red and blues in the same litter and they are from the same mom and dad.

Ok dont be rude, I am telling you there is nothing different between the dogs, and if you are not color blind then why ask what the difference is between the blue and red heeler? I am telling you they are the same breed the same dog. IF you dont like the answer too bad thats your priority but dont ask a question if you cant handle a well thought out, and informative answer. Remember your the one that determines who gets the BA in the end. The capitalized letters are not me yelling at you they to point out the importance of what I am saying.
