  1. Nothing really.

    They're both gasses and probably just as stable as each other. As soliable, as dense, &c.

    I'm not 100% but I believe the reason why they carbonate soft drinks in the first place is to emulate alcoholic beverages, which get carbonated naturally (when the yeast eats the sugar), but soft drinks are carbonated artificially. And it adds the fizz.


  2. Nothing at all. We do though, breathe out much more than just carbon dioxide. We breathe out a certain amount of oxygen, which is why mouth-to-mouth breathing can sometimes be effective. We also breathe out a certain amount of moisture, and other chemicals that may be in our body.

  4. soda contains carbonate, not carbon dioxide. carbonate and carbon dioxide are two different things.

  5. I don't think there is a difference in the carbon dioxide in our exhalations or the carbonation of a soda or the atmosphere or Mars.
