What is the difference between civil psychiatrist and the military psychiatrist?

  1. it's the same thing but one of them deals with extraordinary aspects and symptoms of diseases, that accompanies the killings and such horrible scenes that usually affects the morales of soldiers..besides, he has a gun!


  2. all psychiatrists are civil , except a few who serve in the army .

    these are officers with ranks .

    they treat any military personnel who suffers from a psychological problem.

    they know how to treat common problems such as anxiety , frustration, lack of sleep , depression , etc.

    they also treat big traumas that occur  as after effects of battles , killing the enemy , facing death , etc.

    we know that some American military   persons who serve in

    Iraq   have big problems .

    some commit suicide  .

    so, military psychiatrists are needed to treat such cases .
