  1. clubs are more geared towards dancing. pubs are simply bars where people gather to have a drink or two, maybe shoot some pool, throw some darts, hear someone play on the piano. clubs = hype. pubs = laid back.

    Pub:  Short for public house.  No admissions control.

  5. club is a wider and a positive term..i mean people gather around a place to discuss something or a get together..there are religiuos clubs, social clubs around...

    pub is a place where drinks alchohol is served..its actual word is "public house"

  6. My guess is that you get some kind of entertainment in a club.  You just get lots of beer to drink at a pub.
