What is the difference between cultural region and physical region?

  1. A cultural region is based on political boundaries, such as different counties. A physical region is an area which would have the same geography. An example would make it more clear. The Rocky Mountains run through both the US and Canada. This would be a single physical region (if its the correct scale you are looking at) but split between two political  regions.


  2. a cultural region is the culture, background, and religion add up to in the end, like an Italian Christian. the physical region is where you are geographically, like Canada, Ontario.
