  1. In the metric system, non-derived or basic units refer to the units of the fundamental quantities like kilogram, candela, mole, Kelvin, meter, etc.,. while a derived unit is one which is a combination of these basic units such as steradians, kilometer/hour.


  2. non derived r d fundamental units... any unit wich uses mass, distance, time, angle, temp alone is fundamental... any unit wich involves a combination of dese is derived...
