  1. If you go to a restaurant, are you going to order everything on the menu?  If you do, you'd better be throwing a party because you'll end up with 10-15 full meals, 5-8 appetizers, and all of the sides to accompany your meals.

    But say that it's your birthday and your friends are treating you.  You can have anything you want.  It's your choice, but you don't want to look like a jerk by ordering two entries.  So you get the surf and turf.
