What is the difference between female and woman?

For instance, my cat who gave yet a kitten, can I call her she is a woman cat?

It's simple !! Female is opposite of male, and woman is opposite of man. But use ur mind dear would u call a c**k a man ?? No, only female humans r called as woman. Animals or birds r only called to be male or female. But u can call a woman a female there's no problem. Hope i helped

Are you serious? Just in case you are:

Female is a general case, and woman is a particular case.

So - a Woman is a grown up person, while

female can be woman, little girl, an aso, a cow, or any creature that can give birth to a little one.
