  1. my buddy tells me "food in Iraq sucks food in U.S. is great" good to have him back

  2. I'd imagine that the food in Iraq consists of a lot of lamb... which doesn't please me (I live in the U.S.). However, most American food doesn't please me, either.

Food in the U.S. is going to be less fresh and have higher health code standards. Food in Iraq is usually just what the neighbor is selling.

  3. food iniraq is flavoured with spices whereas in us it is burger and hot dog

  4. One huge difference is PORK & pork products!  Iraqi cuisine does not use any pork nor do they consume/cook with any alcohol.

Obviously the US does consume pork, pork products and drink alcohol (also cook with alcohol).

Vegetables mix with meat in different Iraqi cuisine styles. Beef, Lamb and poultry are main meat items; Muslims don’t eat Pork. Soups and stews have vegetables and meat. Many cuisines of Iraq has meat and fish mixed with rice and vegetables like beans, chickpeas, lentils, okra, onions, tomatoes etc. Minced meat stuffed with nuts and raisins is still a delicacy in Iraq.

  5. Food in Iraq is fresh vegetables, grain and pulses with meat mainly lamb or goat with spices.

The bulk of US food is processed, homogenised, packaged, fried, over salted and sugary
