I'm not sure what the difference is. Do they give you the same kind of coverage?

  1. foundation is wet and comes in a bottle. Powder can be loose in a box, or pressed in a compact case. Foundation gives solid coverage, and powder is for finishing. Powder can often be used in place of foundation if you don't have bad acne or older/tired skin.

  2. Foundation is use to even out your skin tone and for coverage. Powder is used to set your make up and keep the shine off your face. Have you heard the saying 'I am going to go powder my nose". When you have an oily shine on your face a quick pat of powder works to eliminate it.

  3. foundation norally comes in a bottle and is very thick and heavy and has a lot of color to it..powder is very light very soft and is litterally a powder not a liquid..they do give the same kind of coverage becaue they're cover up's but powder is just a lot lighter..and when people wear foundation they look like they're wearing masks

  4. foundation is to make your skintones match. powder is to give your skin a tint of different color.

  5. the foundation is the liquid subtance you put on first to hide blemishes better and the powder is the finisher which helps the make up to blend in.

  6. Foundation is the first layer. It can be a liquid, solid, or semi soild. You know the bottles of skin colored things? yeah, those. If you use the foundation with the sponge and the mirror, it is a semi. You put it on to cover the blemishes and "imperfections" of skin. Then make up goes on top of it. Powder is the top layer. It blends the blush and foundation into your skin so it is even. Powder is the light powder (dust like) substance. Kind of like blush. It doesnt hide anything. It blends. Thats the difference.

They dont give you the same type of coverage. Coverage comes from the foundation. Powder blends. Complete difference. I hope this helped you.

  7. a foundation can either be a liquid or a semi-solid and it is use to cover up blemishes or as a base for your powder to go on top of, powder can be wore alone for light coverage, or on top of a foundation, powder is more for taking the shine out of your skin than blemish coverage

    good luck

  8. Foundation is liquid. Powder is powder haha. But usually a liquid foundation gives medium to full coverage while powder gives light to medium coverage. Hope this helps!

  9. powder is just powder. it can be baking soda powder, flour powder, cocaine powder! lol. foundation is saying specificly its makeup. not cooking supplies, not drugs. get it?!
