  1. Respiration is the release of energy in cells.

    Gaseous exchange is like when a plant absorbs CO2 and releases oxygen. And vice versa in the lungs during breathing.

  2. sounds like the same thing to me.

    but then I am barking. Woof Woof.

  3. There are 2 types of respiration.

    Cellular respiration is how cells release energy from food.

    Food + Oxygen ------> Energy +CO2 + H2O

    The other kind of respiration is breathing (gaseous exchange)

  4. Gas=Methane, Respiration=Carbon Dioxide.

  5. There is non. Gaseous exchange is what takes past in surface respiration. There are also loads of different types, like aerobic, anaerobic, cellular... only anaerobic uses a surface (your lungs).
