  1. all three have the same meaning--being truthful or real. however, the difference is seen as to how they are used.

    genuine is used to describe an object. for example, a genuine bar of gold. this means that it is a "real" gold.

    honest is used to describe a person. e.g. Billy had never been so honest. this means that he is truthful in his statements, or what he had been saying.

    sincere is used to describe an emotion or an action. e.g. I give to you my sincere congratulations. or I sincerely accept my faults. this means proving the veracity of your deeds or thoughts.
