What is the difference between hoof polish and hoof dressing?

Okay thanks but now i need to know the difference between hoof dressing and hoof conditioner

Hoof dressing has nutrients and such in it to help protect and hydrate the hooves. Hoof polish is just colored to make the hooves look good for showing purposes.

hoof dressing: contains nutrients to give them stronger hooves, or if they have a hoof disease, or anything like that.

When your going to a show, sometimes people like to make their horses hooves shiny, thats what the hoof polish is for. With hoof dressing, you can use that to moisturize your horses hooves, give nutrients to them and it still leaves them a bit shiny.

I would always use hoof dressing only when needed- its not good to over use it, only if your horses hoofs are dry/cracked or your at a show, but stick with the hoof dressing rather than hoof polish, that way you'll be helping your horse as well as making the hooves shiny too.

Hoof Dressing is what vets and farriers recommend. It puts a shine to the hoof while adding desired moisture, vitamins, and nutrients while hoof polish just dries the hoof and sometimes causes flaking of the coronet (experience).

PLEASE USE HOOF DRESSING when needed. Sometimes, if you can;t find the kind that harens like polish when applied, asked a friend or instructor to apply the dressing right before you enter the ring.
