  1. Jelly....clear, you can see thru it made of clarified juice.

    Jam...has pureed fruit pulp in it.

  5. jelly is totally gelled, no chunks of fruit. Jam has chunks of the fruit/skins etc, marmalade is pretty much the entire fruit i think

  6. I was told the difference is the amount of sugar. And the fruit that's put into it, with jam being thicker and containing bits of fruit.

    and Jelly has no chunks of fruit nor seeds, its pretty much just smooth all the way through.

  8. Before pouring into jars, jelly is strained to remove all the seeds, pulp, ad other solid materials. Jam can include pulp, although no one wants seeds in their jams or jellies.
