  1. Serum is a fluid component secreted from human or animal blood, milk, lymph or other body fluids. IT's supposed to be some super fluid which greatly enhances the quality of certain skin and other health products. In the opinions of many "serum" is a way to either increase the price or the sales of a product.

Tell you what I do. I buy a fairly decent skin lotion for a relatively low price and every time I use it I add a bit of petrolium jelly and rub the two together between my hands before applying. Works wonders without breaking thr budget. You ought to try it sometime, like now!

  2. Hi there!

A serum is a concentrated way to get anti-aging ingredients--such as retinols, vitamins, and peptides--into your skin. While these ingredients are also available in creams and lotions, serums are so lightweight and fast-absorbing that they can be layered under other products without interfering with them. They are a water based product that easily transfers these materials into the skin.
