  1. Kinetic operate using the motion from your body when you are walking (arms swaying) and things like that. Those are usually your more expensive and higher watches, i.e. most Rolexes operate like that.  An automatic watch is just your typical watch with a battery in it.


  2. Kinetic winds itself by being in motion. Automatic uses a battery.
