  1. The SX is the Motocross/Supercross version and the XC is the cross country version for hare scramble type racing.

    The XC is not a wide ratio transmission, but the XC-W is.


  2. The SX is for motocross or supercross type racing. It has a close ratio gear box....

    the XC is for off road riding and racing, and comes with a wider ratio tranny.....
