  1. Grease is really just oil with a thickener -- usually a soap -- added to increase the viscosity.  The oil acts as the lubricant, the thickener just makes it stay in place.


  2. I  believe the most evident answer to this question is that grease is thicker than oil,..in other words oil is more fluid than grease..
