What is the difference between ping ISI and Ping ISI K?

I'm looking at purchasing a set of Ping irons and would like some feedback from someone who is familiar with both models. I understand that the ISI-S irons are a bit more compact than the ISI-K, which are oversize. I hit these a few times many years ago and LOVED them, but could not afford them at the time. They are now within my price range (used/ebay/craigslist/etc), but I cannot remember if I hit the ISI-S or ISI-K. I currently have Tommy Armour 845 FS Silver Scot irons. I hit them well, but desperately want to move to the Pings. What are the major differences between the two and suggestions as to which I should target for purchase?

  1. ISI K is bigger.

  2. the ISI has a regular sized clubhead.  the ISI-K has an oversized clubhead for higher handicap golfers and are going to be more forgiving for you.  If you are a mid-high handicap then odds are you were hitting the K.

  3. ISI is the tour clubs and the ISI K's are oversized.. Since you are a mid to high handicap you should buy the ISI-K, it has a bigger sweet spot which means more forgivness.
