hello, i just got back from a trip to argentina and while i was there i took up an interest in rugby. Now i know all the rules and how to play and blah blah blah and i have an all blacks "match" ball. I would like to know what makes a match ball a match ball and what makes a practice ball a practice ball and what the differences are (if there are any)

i thank you in advance for this information

  1. A match ball is more exact.

    Size, weight, shape grip etc.

Because of this it is more expensive to make. About £85 for a good one.

But, they don't keep their size weight and shape etc at those standards for long.

A practice ball is a lower standard, so cheaper but will stay in good condition for longer.

  2. The match ball is the one they used on the game against the opposition.

The practice ball is the one used on training.
