  1. Demo is abbreviation of Soredemo originally.

There are basically 2 ways for usage of this if in case of conjunctive.

    1) Watashi wa ganbatta demo maketa means I did my best, nevertheless, I lost.

    2) Watashi wa sippai sita demo ganbatta means I failed, nevertheless, I did my best.

Another usage of Demo is as particle which has also 2 ways.

1)Sin-demo ii means that I'll dare to be die evenly

Ikura yon-demo henji ga nai means no reply comes even I called repeatedly many times.

    2) even or kind of(vague)

Anata demo Byoki niwa katenai means that even you can't overcome sickness.

Ani ni demo tanomimasu means that I'll ask my brother or kind of.

Kedo or Keredomo is abbreviation of Dakedo, Dakeredo or Dakeredomo.

These are same as Shikashi equal to But as conjunctive. No particle.

You can say it that watashi wa ganbatta kedo maketa as same as watashi wa ganbatta demo maketa.

Nevertheless, you can't say it that Shin-kedo ii or Kodomo kedo dekiru or so on.

Watashi demo wakaru kedo kare wa wakaranai.

(Even I can understand but he can't do it.)

Watashi kedo wakaru demo kare wa wakaranai.(wrong)

Watashi demo wakaru demo kare wa wakaranai.(poor)
