  1. Graduate means you have a degree and are seeking a higher degree than the one you currently have ("he is taking graduate courses" 500 level and above).  Undergrad means you are going to school to get one (courses 100-400 level).

  2. Un undergraduate is generally someone pursuing a Bachelors degree in something.  Once he attains that degree he will then go on to pursue an advance degree (like a masters or doctorate) and he is said to be a graduate.  Thos people take classes that are stricly focused on their field of study (meaning no more gen ed fluff) and they have to write a thesis (or dissertation) focused on the area they are studying.  Graduate programs may require something like a GMAT to qualify for acceptance.  Your grades also have to be good enough to advance on for further study.  Colleges have differing requirements.

Medical schools are not graduate schools.

  3. An undergraduate is a person studying for his bachelor's degree.

A graduate student has a bachelors and is going for a masters or PhD.

    All the best.

  4. Undergraduate is anyone who has not gotten a BA/BS degree yet, so this anyone from High school grad up who hasn't gotten a degree.

Graduate is anyone who already has a BA/BS degree, and might be going on to a master's degree (aka Post-grad).

  5. Graduate: a person who has received a degree from a school high school or college or university , and has bachelor's degree.

Undergraduate is a university student who has not yet received a first degree.. it simply refers to less than to a 4 year degree such as a BA or BS or AA or AS degree.

  6. under graduate= no degree, still studying for your bachelors

Graduate= studying for a masters degree

  7. undergraduate is when you are going into college for the first time for an associates or bachelor's degree. Graduate is any education level higher than a bachelor's (masters, M.D., dentistry, law school etc).

to get into undergrad, normally based off of highschool gpa, SAT

to get into graduate school, the test depends on what program (GRE, MCAT, DAT, LSAT, etc) and college GPA

  8. Undergraduate is anything below graduating with your Bachelor's degree, Graduate means you are past that level and working on higher education at a Master's level and Post-graduate means a doctorate's level or anything above a master level. If you have not completed a Bachelor or Baccalaureate's level you are a undergraduate.

  9. Undergraduate is a bachelors degree.

Graduate is a masters degree.  You need to have a bachelors degree to get a masters degree.
