What is the difference between "WXGA" and "Glossy" Laptop Screens?

  1. WXGA the W stands for Wide so  is a WIDE screen not glossy (not reflective) kind of like dull. plus is also HDTV.

    Glossy means the Screen is very reflective like enough to see yourself in the mirror.

    Glossy looks better at night because the graphics look better. but using during the day the light get reflected a lot, thus making it hard to really see what is going on in the screen.


  2. WXGA is referring to a certain monitor resolution. Glossy means it's pretty and kind of reflective. They have nothing to do with each other.
