What is the difference between "english honors" and "english 7 honors"?

Hello, first day of 7th grade. I got English 7 Honors and my friend got English Honors. What's the difference?

That's strange!  Are you both 7th graders?  Could it be a typo on your friend's schedule?  Is your friend's 'English Honors' a multi-grade level Honors course?  

Ask both teachers what the difference is between your honors and her honors class.  I'm betting the classes are the same, and it might have been a typo.  Good luck in school this year!
